Jiya Patel is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, with hopes to continue her education into a doctoral degree. She currently works at an elementary school as an after-school homeroom teacher, where she supports students’ academic and personal development in a nurturing environment. A musician with a background in theatre, Jiya was actively involved in performance throughout high school, experiences that built her creativity, discipline, and collaborative skills.
