Dance HUB: Barcelona is a one-week dance intensive program that offers a transformative and culturally-immersive experience for dancers seeking a holistic and mindful approach to creative research.

At Dance HUB: Barcelona, creative research is at the heart of the program. Dancers are given the freedom to explore their ideas, experiment with movement, and collaborate with peers to create innovative choreographic scores. Participants are encouraged to delve into self-reflection, mindfulness exercises, and somatic practices to deepen their awareness of their bodies, emotions, and intentions as they dance. Our holistic approach not only enhances performance skills but also promotes overall well-being and personal growth.

ABOUT BIDE
BIDE (Barcelona International Dance Exchange) is an organization based in Barcelona, that provides programs for creative exchange and networking between performing arts professionals worldwide, through a unique tool called B>Lab. The B>Lab's laboratories’ goal is to let creative ideas sprout and circulate in a basin of diversity and inclusion, through a process of non hierarchical cross-exploration. The B>Lab's laboratories trigger connections through which participants engage themselves in the research and share their discoveries in order to feed the collective creation. Each B>LAB has facilitators whose mission is to introduce the biannual theme, open questions and propose a dynamic structure for the working session, and provide a fertile field for participants to decide how to proceed.
