Matteo Ferrone is a native New Yorker and graduate of The City College of New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors and a minor in Philosophy. He is pursuing a career in healthcare and gained early professional experience working as an occupational therapist assistant at the Methodist Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Riverdale. A competitive ice hockey and soccer player, Matteo grew up surrounded by dancers who shaped his understanding of the connection between physical and mental wellbeing, as well as the discipline and dedication required in the performing arts. Since 2021, he has served as WADE’s production assistant and videographer, supporting projects in both Italy and New York. He has also participated in every Dance HUB Italy since its founding in 2010, first attending at the age of six.
