MenEngage Ubuntu Global Symposium

Two Creative Sessions by WADE
November 2020

A unique opportunity to envision how work to transform masculinities can support a feminist vision of a post-COVID world. In fall of 2020, WADE was invited to present as a part of the MenEngage UBUNTU Symposium. This annual event is open to practitioners, thought-leaders, activists, theorizers, policy makers, and anyone interested in transforming masculinities for gender equality and social justice. Through two separate Creative Expression Sessions, WADE was able to present the works of incredible artists including Jennifer Chin, Stephanie Troyak, and DANFROC, as well as spoken testimonials from Shannon Gillen and Elizabeth Parkinson.
